Coaching service
One-on-One Executive Coaching
Personal coaching for a high-stakes presentation, from the first draft to the moment you walk on stage.
Some presentations are too important for a general workshop. A keynote at an industry event, a pitch to global investors, a board paper or a first address as a new leader needs coaching on your own material, at your pace. One-on-One Executive Coaching is a private coaching service with Jude Louis. We start from where you are, work on your real presentation, and stay with you through the script, the slides, the delivery and a full dress rehearsal.
The problem it solves
High-stakes presentations are often built late, by experts who know the content far better than the audience does. The result is a script that is too technical, slides that compete with the speaker, and too little rehearsal. Coaching closes that gap: a clear message for the people in the room, slides that match the script, and delivery that holds up under pressure.
Who it’s for
- Senior leaders and technical experts presenting at high-stakes events: keynotes, investor briefings, bid rounds and conferences
- Executives preparing a board, Management Committee or C-suite presentation
- New leaders preparing a first town hall or major address
- Presenters who want private, tailored feedback rather than a group workshop
Format
- Format: One-on-one sessions with Jude Louis; small presenter teams on request
- Structure: A coaching journey of up to five parts, scheduled around your event date
- Practice: Rehearsals on your real presentation, with video and detailed feedback
- Delivery: At your premises, a venue of your choice or online
What you will be able to do
By the end of the coaching, you will be able to:
- Know your baseline: where your delivery, structure and visuals stand today
- Turn technical content into a clear, persuasive script for your audience
- Build slides that support the script instead of competing with it
- Deliver with presence: pace, voice, body language and eye contact
- Stay composed when things go wrong, and handle tough questions with credibility
The coaching journey
Part 1
Key presentation skills
Set a baseline, then build the fundamentals for your audience.
- Current-state assessment: a short sample presentation, with immediate feedback on delivery, visuals, body language and storytelling
- The fundamentals of executive presentations, using the O.S.C.A.R. framework (Objective, Storylining, Charts, Audience, Rhetoric)
- Analysing your audience: their priorities, concerns and decision drivers
- Outlining the key messages to build into your script
Part 2
Script development and structuring
Turn your key messages into a persuasive script, with slides that match it.
- Drafting the core script step by step, from technical content to a clear narrative
- Structures such as Problem, Opportunity, Solution and Close for a logical, persuasive flow
- Balancing technical detail with business value
- Preparing slides that support the narrative, tested together with the script
Part 3
Refinement and delivery
Refine the script and slides, then build delivery and composure.
- Detailed feedback on flow, clarity and persuasiveness
- Rhetoric: pace, tone, emphasis, body language and eye contact, through repeated practice and real-time feedback
- Rough Times: staying calm and in control when things go wrong on stage
Part 4
Final pitch preparation
Finalise everything and practise the hard questions.
- Final feedback on the script and deck, so every slide matches its script
- Pre-empting tough questions, practised in rounds with the coach playing the audience
- Full run-throughs in a simulated setting, refining timing, flow and transitions
Part 5
Dress rehearsal
Rehearse it exactly as it will happen on the day.
- A full dress rehearsal in the same running order as the event
- Checks on timing, slides and script, including handovers between speakers
- A final run-through shortly before you go on stage
How the coaching works
- We start with a short conversation about the event, the audience and your timeline
- The coaching works on your real presentation, not textbook cases
- Rehearsals are video-recorded and reviewed with you
- Parts are spaced out, so you have time to rewrite and practise in between
- Optional: planning and review of large-format or panoramic stage visuals, aligned line by line with your script
What you take away
- A finished script and slide deck, ready for the event
- Personal feedback and video of your rehearsals
- A plan for handling tough questions
- The O.S.C.A.R. method, to use on every presentation after this one
The outcome
You walk on stage with a script you own, slides that match it, and the composure that comes from rehearsing it properly, ready for the audience that matters.
Questions
Is this one-on-one or for a team?
It is designed as one-on-one coaching. For events with several presenters, we can coach a small team together so the presentations tell one consistent story.
Do we have to do all five parts?
No. The five parts are the full journey. We can start later or focus on specific parts, depending on how ready you are and how much time is left before the event.
Do you also help with the slides and stage visuals?
Yes. Scripts and slides are developed together. For large stage screens we can also plan and review the visuals with you; video, animation and artwork production stay with your own team or agency.
